We love special desserts to sweeten celebrations. With Passover around the corner, we thought this Matzo Toffee recipe would be perfect for any celebration! Today’s yummy family recipe was given to us by Andy Newmark, our Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.
On March 21 we will celebrate the acceptance, value and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome. Why March 21st? Because 3/21 symbolizes a third copy of the 21st chromosome. Throughout our Baby Matters Blog journey, we have been lucky enough to meet amazing families who have children with Down Syndrome. These courageous families inspire us and remind us of the beauty and miracle of every baby. They remind us to make sure we teach values of inclusion, kindness and beauty in our differences.
March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. With this easy art craft for kids, you can teach your child about Winter turning into Spring and the fun sayings we have to describe weather.
Whether you are Irish or not, this fun St. Patrick’s Day craft is a great way to have your child’s hand-print keepsake while celebrating a fun holiday.
In a few weeks we will be kicking off our community fundraising week for the charity Kolcraft supports called KIDS. KIDS is an amazing organization that helps kids in distressed situations all across the globe. Part of our fundraising efforts is our Kolcraft Cookbook containing yummy recipes from Kolcraft employees. We decided to give you an early sneak peek into our fundraising week and cookbook with this delicious meatloaf recipe submitted by Paul Reidy. Paul is a Senior Marketing Manager at Kolcraft who is busy bringing to market the the latest strollers. When he isn’t at Kolcraft, you can find Paul playing in the Chicago Hockey League or on stage at Second City (hence the humor in his recipe).
