  1. Your favorite post for me was Raising Awareness on Autism. I have seen a lot of recent diagnosis of various children and I think it’s important for people to know how they can help.

I love the post titled: 10 Ways To Make Everyday Moments with Your Child Special
i think it is so important to live this way! It is so easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, especially when you have a large family. My favorite tip was to take a long walk at my child’s pace. We take lots of walks, but I usually put the bigger kids on their bikes and the little one in the jogging stroller and more or less take them out on my workout. I now take them on slow “exploring” walks at least once a week, weather permitting. And it is best when I can do it with just one child, the conversations are great! Love this whole blog!!

Congratulations!! You have many interesting and educational posts that I enjoyed. My favorite post Is “Unlock Your Child’s Imagination” I leave near Chicago and I had no idea we have Disney Imagination Center so close! It was very interesting to read about it and more important is that I can’t wait to take my grand baby there this summer!

My favorite blog post was 5 Ways Dads Can Bond with Baby. It had a lot of great ideas that new dads may not have thought of as far as quality bonding time.

I loved the Easy Book Activity for Kids post. It’s so cute and simple. I’m definitely going to have to try it with my oldest two kids.

Share Your Breakfast was a great post. I feel that breakfast is so important. I give my children a healthy breakfast even though they have breakfast at
    school.

Congrats again! My favorite blog posts are the ones that are craft related. Out of them: the turkey one was the cutest! I love crafts and always enjoy a new way to do something creative with children!

Happy Blog Birthday! I found this blog only a couple of months ago as I was searching online about cooking for kids (I own several wonderful Kolcraft products, but never happened upon the blog before). I came upon your article “Meal Makeover Moms Create Healthy Meals for Kids” and was totally inspired! I love love love their website and I get recipes off of there weekly. It has been an amazing tool and a couple of weeks after reading your blog article I bought No Whine With Dinner for a friend who also struggles in the kitchen.

Thank you so much for taking the time to maintain your blog! That article has made a definite, positive impact on my life and my cooking (and my son and husband are much happier as a result). I have only great things to say about the product updates and other articles on your site. Keep up the great work!

10 Ways To Make Everyday Moments with Your Child Special is one of my favorites. Sometimes things get so hectic and I have these grand ideas of special family times/events. This post was a great reminder of all the small and special ways we can connect, a lot of them with little effort. I have it saved to my favorites.

  10. Love the Preparing Your Child for A New Sibling! This is always a difficult situation!! The basic tips you discussed in the post were very good tips … esp “Buy a gift for your child from baby that he or she will receive from baby when they first meet” – We did this with our 2nd and it was wonderful.

  11. I love the “Planning Your Child’s Birthday Party On A Budget” post. It is so easy to get caught up in the excitement of planning your child’s birthday and you end up overspending because you buy anything you can find to match the theme. Your post was really helpful because I am planning a Little Einsteins party for my son and those party supplies are hard to find. I loved your idea to use the Disney website for free printables and other great ideas! Thanks!

A post that stuck with me is ‘Tiny Heroes Fight Congenital Heart Defects’ Feb 11. It’s my favorite because it talks about a dad perspective and his blog dealing with his daughter’s heart issues…..and a happy ending in that she just had her 1st birthday!thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite post was Raising Awareness on Autism. I have a nephew with Autism and my little boy also has Autism, so raising awareness is a really important cause to me. It’s hard being a parent of a child who by all outer appearances looks like a neurotypical child and gets judged by people who don’t know him when we go out in public and he doesn’t behave the way a child his age typically would. It saddens me that people can be so hateful toward a child simply because he’s different.

I love your post of ‘St. Patrick’s Day Recipes for Your Family’. We made the ‘Easy Corned Beef & Cabbage’ and it came out just perfect! Thanks for all that you do! Happy Anniversary!

Thank you for your comment. You are so right – we need to be understanding & loving not judging of others’ children because we don’t know their inside story or all the beauty within a child!

  18. 5 Ways Dad Can Bond With Baby – I get so much bonding time in with breastfeeding so it’s nice to find ways daddy can have his time too!

  19. 1st off Congrats of your birthday!! Hopefully we can celebrate many many more. My favorite post was “a mom who had hope in the face of darkness”. Its my favorite because I had went thru some of the same things. I went to Ob for a normal 33wk check up, next thing you know he is sending me to the hospital cuz of my bp was high. I entered hospital Friday morning and found out I had preeclampsia, they ended up having to emergency c-section wed morning because my bp shot up to 199/100 and no matter how much they pumped into my iv’s it wudnt decrease.my son was delivered 2/9 at 2lbs 5.9oz being a first time mom I was scarrred!! He suffered from intreuterine growth restriction, a brain bleed and other prob due to prematurity. He was given 50/50 chance. I would Google the conditions he had and would end up reading the worst case scenarios which depressed me. Reading a story like hers where a happy ending come is amazing. My lil guy is out of nicu now after 39days and is 9wks old and nearly is 6lbs. I hopemy story ends like hers :)

My favorite post was the “5 Tips to Creating Your Own Mom Cave”. It is hard to remember to step back and take time for myself, but having a “mom cave” (our computer room) makes it easier to relax, have a cup of coffee, read my e-mail and plan the day. Thanks for a year of fun and insightful posts!

  21. I love the post about Wally the Wonderbug most because I have a 1 year old girl who loves looking at those pics- keeps her entertained for a good few minutes. BTW- Happy Birthday.

One of my favorite posts is Sharing Your Family History with Your Kids. We talk to our daughter all the time about black history. I think that is so important for kids to have a sense of heritage.
