Activities for National Candy Corn Day

Halloween’s tomorrow and Candy Corn is a huge part of Halloween. It is only appropriate that the day before Halloween is National Candy Corn Day! To celebrate National Candy Corn Day and to prepare for Halloween, here are a few Candy Corn activities to do with your kids.
Help Your Kids Learn to Count & Learn Spatial Recognition – Fill a small jar up with candy corn and count them, but don’t tell your kids how much is in there. Let them guess and whoever is closest gets the candy inside!
Helps Your Kids Learn Shapes and Sizes – Using white, orange and yellow (the candy corn colors) paper, cut out the three layers of the candy corn. (Yellow on bottom, then orange, then white at the top). Spread them out for your child on a surface and scramble them up. Let your child try and recreate each candy corn! This is a great hands on activity for toddlers. Tip: use construction paper and not computer paper so that each piece is durable for your child to fiddle with.
