Kolcraft had their annual cookie exchange today, and while there were countless yummy treats brought in, we’re featuring one of the favorites on today’s blog: Red Velvet Cake Cookies! They’re quick, easy, festive, and everyone will love them!

Recipe adapted from Baking With Blondie.

– 6 Tbsp. butter (melted)
– 2 large eggs
– One box of Red Velvet cake mix
– 1.5 C powdered sugar

First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees and grease your cookie sheets.
Next, mix the butter, eggs and cake mix together in a bowl. Once it’s combined, form the dough into balls (or use a scoop, which our baker did). Place the dough balls onto the cookie sheet, leaving about 1.5 inches in between. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top before putting them in the oven.
Bake for 7-9 minutes, which will make them so the center is still a bit gooey!

So if you have any holiday parties, cookie exchanges, or feel like making something sweet with your kids, give these a try! What are your favorite cookie recipes? Share them with us here and you could win some great prizes!
