Fitness for Moms

There are many demands on moms from childcare to household upkeep and beyond so sometimes it’s hard for mom to find time for herself, let alone start a fitness routine. Taking time to stay fit has so many benefits for mom so Kolcraft has partnered with certified fitness trainer, Cassandra, from Active Moms Club to bring you some very easy-to-incorporate fitness tips for even the  busiest of moms.

We love how clear and practical Cassandra’s tips are. Over the next 3 Mom Mondays we will bring you fitness tips from Cassandra to help jump start your fitness routine. We also will be hosting a giveaway for a Jeep Jogging stroller so you will have lots of reasons to start making time for yourself on a fitness journey.

    I wasn’t aware that exercising would help strenthen the pelvic wall! I sure wish o knew this with my 3 girls! Would have helped knowing that! I love this stroller and would be thrilled to win because of the odometer, that’s just one of the many awesome features tht ii would enjoy! Hope I win!

    I learned from Cassandra that if you have a healthy pregnancy, experts recommend that you exercise at moderate intensity 30 minutes per day. Good to know.

    Exercising during pregnancy helps control pregnancy weight gain, circulation, and it helps prepare your body for labor and delivery. Love the stroller!!

    I didn’t know 30 minutes of moderate exercise is recommended everyday with a healthy pregnancy. Good to know. This stroller is AMAZING!!! My favorite feature- the speed & distance odometer. I’ve yet to come across an accurate way to measure my distance with my phone but with this it’s right on the stroller! Awesome!

    I take my 9 month old for walks everyday, but with the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller I would be able to track my progress better. I love that it features a speed and distance odometer!!!

    I love that Cassandra says that a mom can squeeze fitness into her schedule, that is very motivating and I love that. I’ve already started doing this and it is a lot more doable for me. I enjoy it and it has now become a part of everyday me! yay!

    Cassandra is right when she says that a mom can squeeze fitness into her schedule. Babies nap a lot and I can always get a walk in while he snoozes. The sound system is a plus for baby (lullabies) and the speed and distance odometer is a plus for me. With that feature, I can also challenge myself :) .

    I learned from Cassandra that you should participate in moderate to intense exercise about 30 minutes a day to help with muscle tone, proper circulation and promote a healthy weight gain during pregnancy. I would love to have this beautiful jogging stroller to help me return to a healthy post pregnancy weight!

    Love the speakers and odometer! I would love to start jogging and tone up after losing all my baby weight already!! My husband and I both love jeeps and it would be great for all the Colorado mountains we have here :] Would love to have this!!!

    I’m glad to know that you can exercise in 15-20 throughout the day and it’s still beneficial. Sometimes it’s difficult to do 30 – 45 min with children at home.

    I didn’t know that exercise during pregnancy can strengthen the pelvic walls reducing recovery time and that exercising on several shorter times during the day can add up. My favorite feature is the speed & distance odometer.

    Would have love to known that strengthening the pelvic wall while prego with help afterwards would have been a lifesaver! Thanks for the tips! I love that this stroller has adjustable handles this way my husband can jog and push with me!

    I am pregnant with twins & enjoyed getting some tips from this video. I learned that excercise (even if not done before pregnancy) helps maintain healthy weight gain, improves circulation through third trimester, helps my labor & delivery, & my recovery time will be reduced. There also many other benefits of excercise while pregnant that I learned about.

    I learned that exercise helps improve circulation and reduces swelling. This will certainly help with swollen ankles in the 3rd trimester!
