Fun Father’s Day Gift Ideas
With Father’s Day around the corner, now is a great time to start thinking about the perfect way to show your appreciation for the father figures that are around you! Whether it is the father of your children, your own father, grandfather, or a person who is always looking out for you, here are some wonderful ideas for different ways to say, “Thanks!” or “I love you!”
1. With the help for your children, create a massage shirt! It is a shirt that has roads and other items drawn on to the back side so he can lie on the floor and the kids can roll their cars over his back. Your kids will enjoy the play time with dad and he will love the sensation of the cars massaging his back at the simultaneously. All you need is a plain white t-shirt and fabric paint or fabric markers to create the scene. It is super easy to find stencils of the background online and all you need to do is trace!
2. A card is the most unforgettable type of gift to a parent. Have the kids make dad a card instead of buying one! Let their creative side go wild because a card written from the heart is so much more meaningful than one bought from a store!
3. Make them a cute keepsake! Trace your child’s hand and then cut out two copies of it. On the outside of the hands cutouts write “I love you…” After, cut out a strip of paper and add the words “This Much” on the outside, then fold accordion style. Glue the ends of the accordion strip of paper to the hand cutouts and your keepsake for Father’s Day is finished!
It does not matter if you decide to purchase a gift for Father’s Day or make it yourself, but as long you are celebrating by being surrounded by loved ones, your father is guaranteed to have an amazing Father’s Day!
