We are not able to vacation THIS year but will definitely visit the tourism sites for our next year vacation. We will have THREE lil grandbabies next year vacation time and will want to find family friendly restaurants and accommodations in the area. I dont know how some people can \go in cold\ and not have a plan. There’s something to be said for spontaneity but you cant really do this when you have tiny ones. Thanks for the info!

Congrats on your 3 grandbabies. That is WONDERFUL! We agree spontaneity with little people isn’t always the best plan.

We are going to Washington DC at the end of the year with a 3 year old. Its where my husband and I want to visit but we will be having a day or two for just the little one to have fun! I’ve always used Hot Ticket or Expendia to book my vacations. I will being checking the tourism site of Washington DC to see if I can get better deals! Thanks for the info!

We love DC. Several of us have lived there. If you can see the monuments at night, they have a special beauty. The Smithsonians of course are amazing. The Holocaust museum is intense – not really a good choice for kids though. The zoo with the Pandas is a highlight. Of course all the political tours you can take. There are so many beautiful nature trails in DC & VA. We could go on & on…. Have fun!
