Sandy Hook Students Unite Through Music

January 16, 2013 Awareness Days, Events No Comments

It is only a month since the deadly shootings of Sandy Hook, but the children who survived are already giving back through music. A group of students joined together to raise money for United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Youth Academy by recording their version of Over The Rainbow.

It is a touching tribute from the children who are wise beyond their years as, even in their pain, they seek to be a light in the darkness. You can see the making of their recording in this video at the end of an article in the KY Post.

You can buy your copy at Amazon and iTunes. Proceeds will go to United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Youth Academy.
