Summer does not officially begin until June 21st. However, your kids are either out of school or your little one’s new summer schedule is beginning. Every family has these seasonal new schedules, and we thought we would share a few tips to survive the summer break!

  • When asking around the office, multiple co-workers fondly reminisce about going to the pool, running through a sprinkler, or heading to the beach. Make sure to also reference our 5 Tips for Preventing Your Kids from Sunburn before you head out to cool down!
  •  Teach your children some of your favorite outdoor games from your childhood. They can then share it with their friends now. Some of the favorites we mentioned in the office were red rover, dodge ball, hide and go seek, flashlight tag, and capture the flag.
  • Road trips to destinations near and far provide a lot of family bonding time and the opportunity for new adventures. Make sure to reference our post about the Rad Road Trips website. This site gives a lot of ideas to keep your family busy and entertained while traveling.

What are your tips for summer survival? What are some of your favorite summer childhood memories that you look forward to sharing with your kids? Let us know on here, Facebook or Twitter!
