Thanksgiving Tic Tac Toe

Thanksgiving day is full of fun, food and football, but for a toddler that may not be her idea of fun. To keep your toddlers and other small children from getting bored while the bird is baking, here are some fun things to do with them.

Thanksgiving Crafts:

  1. For a sweet take on the traditional Turkey hand craft, check out our M&M turkey craft.
  2. Turn a toilet paper tube into a Turkey or a Pilgrim or a Native American with this easy craft.
  3. Let your toddler feel part of the celebration by making special festive napkin ring holders.
  4. Cut open a large brown paper shopping bag and cover the “kids table”. Draw Tic Tac Toe grids. Use pilgrim & turkey decals instead of X & O to play Tic Tac Toe.

What fun Thanksgiving crafts do you do with your kids?

  1. Thanks for the great ideas. I think the kids feel left out sometimes while the adults are bustling around in the kitchen. I love the tic-tac-toe idea. Thanks!

  2. Love the toilet paper tube craft! Thanks so much! I’m hosting thanksgiving at home this year and my nieces will come and i have nothing to keep them entertained but this would be amazing! :)

This is a great idea, especially for at relative’s houses where the kids don’t have their toys & they get bored.
