Infant Car Seat/ Carrier

Potential Problem: In cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and also cooperating with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kolcraft Enterprises, Inc. is voluntarily recalling its Kolcraft and Playskool Infant Car Seats/ Carriers. When used as an infant carrier, the handle can unexpectedly move from the intended carrying position, causing the seat to suddenly rotate.

Solution: If you own an effected Kolcraft Infant Car Seat/ Carrier, please contact Kolcraft for a free retrokit kit designed to make the handle more secure. Until a repair kit has been installed, do not carry the seat by the handle. Consumers can continue to use the product as a car seat or in combination with strollers.
